Testing and Special Requirements
FAT
Roe Bio-Medical Products offers and encourages their customers to participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). These tests are available for all systems offered and take place after system “burn-in” and just prior to shipment.
Advantages
Some of the advantages to conducting an FAT are:
- The end user has the advantage of “hands on” experience and initial system training before the delivery.
- Discoveries made that would be beneficial to incorporate into the system—overlooked at the time of purchase—are easily implemented at the factory.
- Verification of correct operation and overall system safety.
- Reduction in installation and start-up times.
- Elimination of surprises.
